Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) is especially comforting during the winter season. Its fresh, herbaceous, slightly evergreen aroma is refreshing and restores feelings of security and stability.
Cypress is also beneficial for oily or troubled skin.
Cypress has an approximate ORAC of 243,120 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.
This translates into a very high antioxidant value for renewing and regenerating tired and harassed skin. Good for your cells and good for your smells.

Cypress Essential Oil was used for centuries to alleviate menstrual problems because of its ability to circulate and regulate blood flow. And those properties, is why Cypress is used to decongest and detox the lymphatic system, reduce water retention and cellulite and relax muscles.

It is also spiritually grounding and helps us accept change by allowing us to go with the flow and feeling more secure with ourselves.

When using a new oil for the first time, do a skin patch on a small area of skin. Place a small amount of the diluted essential oil on the inside of your elbow and apply a bandage. This oil may result in extreme skin irritation, therefore, dilution is recommended.
