I have only been using this product a short time, but it only takes a day to know it is like no other and in a class by itself!  To me it is almost like a hybrid of a wash, toner, and moisturizer .... ideally you'd use all 3 but if circumstances only allow you to use 1 this does the trick.  The gel format makes it easy to use on the go without needing cotton pads etc to apply like traditional toners.  My skin feels clean and hydrated after using. As a bonus it is wonderfully packaged and one of the most attractive skin care products I own.
